Background
For 18 years, the Rotary Club of Woji Port Harcourt has been transforming lives, funding eye exams, building water reservoirs, running vaccination campaigns, and mentoring young students. Despite 47 completed projects and a growing membership of 38 professionals, their entire digital presence lived on social media alone.
No central destination for potential members to learn about the club. No secure space for existing members to access documents, rosters, and club administration. No way for local or diaspora donors to give online. The club's impact was real, but invisible to anyone not already following them on Facebook or Instagram.
Leoserve Interactive was engaged through a Digital Transformation Partnership to change that. The brief was clear: build a platform that tells the full story of the club's work, opens the door for new members and donors, and gives 38 active members a proper administrative home, all while meeting strict Rotary International brand compliance requirements.

Problem
The club had three compounding gaps that a new website needed to solve simultaneously, each serving a completely different audience. The existing website presented significant challenges that hindered growth, primarily due to three critical issues:
- For potential members and donors: Without a dedicated web presence, there was no credible, always-on, destination to drive awareness. Social media posts disappear in feeds. A website anchors the brand. Potential members had no structured path from curiosity to inquiry, and donors had no secure, clear, easy-to-access mechanism to give online. And just as importantly, they had no way to appraise the impact of their donation.
- For existing members: Administrative work, meeting minutes, duty rosters, club documents, financial reports, was managed through informal channels. With 38 members growing toward a target of 43–44 by year-end, the club needed a secure, role-based member portal that could scale with them.

Full stack digital platform
Leoserve designed a full-stack digital platform in two distinct layers: a public-facing humanitarian showcase and a private, role-based member portal, both under one domain, both brand-compliant with Rotary International's strict visual standards.
Donation impact calculator
We also built a custom donation impact calculator to help intending donors see the impact of their intended financial support before making a donation. This serves the tripartite purpose of engendering accountability, enabling audit-ability, and stimulating generosity and support.
Visually stimulating impact showcase
The public website was built around Rotary International's "People of Action" photography directive, real members, real projects, real community impact. We led with a bold hero, impact statistics (38 members · 47 projects · 18 years), and a project showcase organized across all seven RI focus areas. A simple, initial donation feature which is visible and effective at nudging patrons and donors to commit to partnering with the club to continue to impact the community with critical developmental projects. Every color, typeface, and logo placement meets Rotary's official brand guidelines.
Membership portal
The member portal gives each of the club's 38 members role-based access to meeting minutes, financial reports, duty rosters, and committee documents. We structured the login system across three tiers: Member, Board, and Admin, each seeing only what's relevant to their role. This infrastructure supports the club's growth toward 43–44 members and beyond.
